We are quite busy these days. And I am lagging behind in answering your comments on the blog. So please be patient, nothing will be lost. Meanwhile, we work hard on the slides for our next Virtual Classroom Seminar #15: Data Pump Best Practices on April 5, 2023.

What will be the topic?
Data Pump Best Practices and Real World Scenarios tells you already what we are planning to do. After we had a “Data Pump Deep Dive with Development” seminar last year (time flies so quickly), we decided that we should tackle it this time from a more practical side.
So we will cover topics such as LOB handling, parallel execution, migration to ADB without using the object storage, understanding log files, verifying data consistency and much much more.
When will it happen?
Wednesday, April 5 at 16:00h CET – which is unfortunately a bit late for India but should be easier for people on the other side of the Atlantic to participate.
April 5, 2023 – 16:00h CET – 10:00 a.m. EDT
Duration will be about 2 hours. We will share the slides right at the start of the seminar, and the recording a bit later.
How do you register?
Please use this link – and scroll down a bit. Unfortunately, the page is not intuitive. You need to SELECT at first, and then move UP again to register. No further comment needed.

Then we all look forward to talk to you soon!

register now button is missing, lol
You need to FLIP the SELECTED – and if it still does not appear, please use a different browser.
I have several security plugins installed in mine as well, and it happens occasionally that such elements don’t appear (or have no function).
Please forgive our marketing department for using such “advanced” technologies 🙁 I’d rather prefer working pages as well.
Let me know if it works – if it doesn’t I’ll ask somebody to register you manually.
Cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike!
Unfortunately I missed today’s event. Will this event be available as recording as well?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Martin
Hi Martin,
sorry for getting back so late. And yes, usually after 1 week we make all the recordings available.
See: https://mikedietrichde.com/videos/
You’ll find #15 and already #16 (which is a replacement for #1) there, too.
Cheers
Mike
