OOW London 2020 – Upgrade Talk and more

Since last year we organize regional Oracle Open World conferences. Not as big as the one in San Francisco (or in Las Vegas this and the following years), but still an exciting event. Time really flies. As every year in November. Right after DOAG, there’s very little time for me to recharge batteries. And once I take a deep breath, I will sit in another airplane and fly to … England. No worries, I won’t do any political jokes. This is not necessary these days. And this is a techie blog. It’s time for my (and our) final conference this year: UKOUG in Liverpool. Liverpool? Yeah … the city of The Reds and The Blues (and Sunday is Merseyside derby time). The city of the greatest pop band ever, the Beatles. And well, the city which has an airport you can’t really fly into. But hey, UKOUG Tech18: See you there! Hopefully, when I’ll make it 😉

Uhhh … time flies. I look into my calendar – and UKOUG TECH 16 Conference is almost there. Just a few days to go (and hopefully no Lufthansa strike on the upcoming weekend – but I looked already for alternatives). Anyhow, I’m excited and look forward to my 2nd TECH conference. My first UKOUG Conference is over.

Actually it was over yesterday already for me as I had to head back to Germany. I would have loved to stay a bit longer and pick more of the many excellent presentations. I visited a few – and all of them were great. It was a tough choice as there were too many interesting things going on at the same time.
