Many of you did wait for this – and since (I think) two weeks it is official. Oracle Database 19c is supported on OL/RHEL 10. Furthermore, I am going to show you how to find the certifications for Oracle AI Database 26ai since your search attempts may lead to different results depending on the filters you use.
How can you look up certification information?
You need to go to support.oracle.com, and then choose Resources and Product Certification Matrix as the picture below demonstrates.

Resources page on support.oracle.com
You must hit the Visit button. Clicking on the larger picture does not do anything.
Certification Search
Then you need to enter the Certification Search on the right side.

Certification Search – enter “Oracle Database”
Very important: Don’t scroll in the Product field!!
When you scroll, your scroll attempt may end at Microsoft Powerpoint. Only occasionally it takes you to the entry you were really looking for. Better enter “Oracle Database” into the Product search field directly.
Well, and you need to differ between:
- Oracle AI Database – when you look for Oracle AI Database 26ai certification information
- Oracle Database – when you look for Oracle Database 19c (or below or 21c) certification information
Or maybe better stay generally with “Oracle Database“. Read till the end if you’d like to see Why?
Better choose “Oracle Database“
In my example, I choose “Oracle Database” since I was looking explicitly for the 19c certification information on OL10 and RHEL10.
The next challenge is finding the right release. There are multiple 19c release numbers listed. Don’t use “19.3.0.0.0 Long Term Release” even though it looks tempting. This is the wrong entry.
Use “19.0.0.0.0” instead if you are looking for 19c.

Choose “19.0.0.0.0” – and don’t choose “19.3.0.0.0 – Long Term Release”
Now you are almost there. You just need to find the right operating system – in my case “Linux x86-64 Oracle Linux 10“:

Choose the right operating system
Yes, it is certified.
See the line above the Export button saying “Displaying Certifications for:” – here it lists 19.0.0.0.0.

Oracle Database 19c is certified on OL10 – see the line “Displaying Certifications for …”
But there may be more …
Thanks to Tim Hall, he posted basically the addendum to this blog post with the fixes and some other gotchas and tips and tricks to make this work on OL10 and RHEL10. Therefore, please, if you plan to make Oracle Database 19c running on RHEL10 and/or OL10, then read Tim’s blog post with additional advice you need to take into account:

Oracle Database 19c supported on Oracle Linux 10 (OL10), but…
.
.
Need to check for Oracle AI Database 26ai?
Please remember that code-wise it is still Oracle 23. Hence, you won’t find 26ai in the list of releases. Instead, you need to choose either “Oracle Database” or “Oracle AI Database“, and then either “23.0.0.0.0” or one of the listed RUs when you search for certifications.

Searching with “Oracle AI Database” gives incomplete information
When you decided to search with “Oracle AI Database” then you will see incomplete information.
At first, only the patch levels 23.26.1 and 23.26.2 will be listed – but 23.26.3 is missing. Of course, this DOES NOT mean that 23.26.3 can’t be used under OL10 or RHEL10. As far as I am aware of it, we don’t certify RUs but only the base releases. We may begin certification FROM a given RU on though occasionally.
Therefore, I would recommend to select “Oracle Database” instead, and then use the base release number “23.0.0.0.0“.
Then you will get this result:

Using “Oracle Database” instead as search filter leads to a more complete result
Now you see all the OS releases Oracle AI Database 26ai is certified with (currently – this list may get longer in the future). No restriction on RUs. It lists SLES15 as well, and of course RHEL10 and OL10, too. Plus, the other Linux versions it is certified with.
I guess this is the result you rather would look for.

- It is there – Oracle AI Database 26ai is available for download on Linux
- Finally … Oracle AI Database 26ai is going to be available on non-Oracle hardware
- OL9 and RHEL9 are certified for Oracle Database 19c
- Tim Hall: Oracle Database 19c is supported on OL10 … BUT …

Hi Mike,
What about the Enterprise Manager Agent?
I can´t clearly say from the certification matrix in MOS if it is certified on OL/RHEL 10.
The documentation does not mention anything about OL/RHEL 10.
Could be a show stopper for many customers if not certified yet.
thx
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
I am checking with the team and will update you (and the comment, too), and/or the blog post.
Cheers,
Mike
I think some important message is missing.
How do we install this 19.3 on OL10? What minimum patch level do we need?
Take autoupgrade, download the necessary gold image which is 19.32 already as I explain here:
https://mikedietrichde.com/2026/07/06/autoupgrade-patching-from-zero-to-hero-part-1/
and the following blog posts.
Then you can either install manually or do this with AutoUpgrade as well (blog posts not written yet – will be available soon).
But we explain the latter in:
https://mikedietrichde.com/videos/
Episode 21 and 27
Fetch the slides by clicking at the pictures, then you see it quickly.
Cheers,
Mike
FYI: There additional one-off patches required on top of 19.32. I’m assuming things will be simpler with 19.33 (I hope). 🙂
Hi Tim,
thanks for the input – if you have a blog post or additional information, I happily add it here.
Thanks
Mike
Ah nevermind – now I see your blog post.
Let me link it 🙂
Cheers,
Mike
