What does this mean?
You know that you can download a new version of AutoUpgrade from My Oracle Support via MOS Note:2485457.1 – Download AutoUpgrade. This was the case since day 1, and even before we released AutoUpgrade together with Oracle Database 19c about 5.5 years ago. We used the note already in the 9 month long beta phase beforehand.
And still you can download the most recent version of AutoUpgrade, and usually also the 2-3 previous versions from MOS Note:2485457.1 – Download AutoUpgrade.
But we are truly delighted to offer you also now the possibility to download AutoUpgrade without any click-through from www.oracle.com/goto/upgrade directly.

Especially with the new features of AutoUpgrade being able to download patches and bundles from My Oracle Support and being able to build your entire Oracle home, it could be very handy to download the newest version of AU in an automated process.
Is there a direct link available?
Yes, of course there is a direct link available, and it will not change or alter, even if we exchange the version. We may have a slight delay of one or two days until the newest version from MOS is available on oracle.com as well since it needs to get mirrored.
And Daniel already asked whether we can add the version number of AutoUpgrade to the download button. Let’s see.

So many thanks for one stable download link.
It is a must-have in scenarions where we automate deployment and upgrades upon hundreds of databases. I was afraid i would need to parse MOS pages with html parser to get to the link every time. This saved me a lot of work. I hope this link will stay as this great tool will be there.
