For a few days, in addition to Linux and SPARC Solaris, Oracle Database 19c (19.3.0) for HP-UX and AIX is available for download now as well. The missing platforms, Windows, Intel Solaris and zLinux should be available soon as well.

Hi Mike,
Do you have information when 19.3.0.x.1904xxRU patches will be un-suspended? Specifically AIX64 & Linux64.

Hi Mike,
I was planning on using autoupgrade on my AIX server to go from 12c to 19c. I have everything ready to go and got this message when running the latest version of autoupgrade (Nov 2021) in analyze mode:
“AutoUpgrade is not fully tested on IBM J9 VM, Oracle recommends to use Java HotSpot(TM)”.
What are your thoughts on continuing with autoupgrade on this server? I put in a SR for clarification but I would also like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks,
Bill
Hi Bill,
at first, this is just a warning and should cause no harm.
Second, are you using the java from the 19c home (meaning, do you set your environment to 19c and then execute autoupgrade with your config file in analyze mode)?
If not, please try it out.
Thanks,
Mike
