Download Assistant DOC (ID 2118136.2) is not showing OCT2014 patches for 11.2.0.4.
I think you’ve meant Oct 2017, not 2014 😉
And they are listed now as well – the owner updated the note.

Keep Attention!
Patch 26737266 for GI clears the ASM entries in /etc/oratab:
+ASM2:/u01/app/12.2.0/grid:N
Due this the “opatchauto apply” systemcheck at beginning hangs for undefined time.
After re-adding this entry on the first node, “opatchauto apply” succeeded. But the ASM Home entry in /etc/oratab also disapears.
Env.:
OL 7.4 GI/RDBMS 12.2

Ouch … this sounds ugly.
I checked:
Oracle Support Document 2297783.1 (Oracle Grid Infrastructure Release Update 12.2.0.1.171017 Known Issues) can be found at: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2297783.1
and it has no known issues mentioned yet. Did you have an SR with Support on this? Or just solved it by yourself?
Cheers
Mike
Hi Mike,
I could resolve it myself by re-adding the deleted ASM Home entry into the /etc/oratab. After that opatchauto was running succesfully.
Also I’m awaiting a response, if other user are affected:

Peter,
not sure if you will get a response on the forum in a timely fashion. Maybe an SR would be the better option instead.
Cheers
