Then convert this database to a pluggable database (PDB) and plug it into a multitenant container database (CDB). Lastly attendees migrate a second 11.2.0.4 database directly into a 12.2.0.1 PDB using the new Oracle Database 12c Full Transportable Export/Import feature. This is a great way to get hands-on experience with different upgrade and migration methods, all under the tutelage of Oracle’s database upgrade team.
