It may seem strange for an Oracle employee to talk about going to California, but as I’m located in the New Hampshire office, it’s actually a reasonably long flight to get there.
Anyway, if you’re located in the Bay Area or the northern part of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, here’s a heads-up about our full-day Database Upgrade Technical Seminars being offered next week in Santa Clara and Woodland Hills. As always these events are completely free, but you need to sign up so that we can be sure to have enough space and seats for all participants. Here are links to the eVites for these events:
08-NOV-2010
Santa Clara Marriott
2700 Mission College Boulevard
Santa Clara, CA 95054
09-NOV-2010
Warner Center Marriott
21850 Oxnard Street
Woodland Hills, CA 91367
We have previously given workshops at HQ, and of course OpenWorld is up in San Francisco proper, so we thought it would be nice to schedule an event at the southern end of the bay. Likewise, our last event in SoCal was down in Anaheim, so we’re hoping that a workshop up closer to the Burbank end of things will be a boon to those who didn’t want to spend half their day on the freeways.
So, please click on the links and sign up if you’re interested. We look forward to seeing you next week!
Oh, one final note: we’re starting to firm up plans for January workshops in New Jersey (05-JAN), Chicago (06-JAN), and Jacksonville (07-JAN). Mark those dates on your calendars, and we’ll sent out details on the venues once they’re finalized!
Roy’s headline reminded me on something … hm … 😉
